Comparison
Xeostack vs Ahrefs
A world-class index, against a pipeline that ends in a published page.
What Ahrefs is
Ahrefs built its reputation on crawling the web itself, and its link index is among the best anyone has. For understanding who links to whom, and why a competitor outranks you, it is the tool most SEOs reach for first and with good reason.
It is a research instrument. It surfaces what is true about the web; deciding what to do about that, and doing it, happens elsewhere.
Where Ahrefs is the better choice
Link data. If backlinks are the centre of your strategy — digital PR, outreach at scale, disavow work, link-gap analysis across competitors — Ahrefs is the better instrument and we do not compete with it there. Xeostack does not build links.
What Xeostack does differently
- Research runs before the keyword: what you sell, who buys it, and the words they actually use
- Every opportunity arrives already ranked, with the case for doing it first
- Drafts publish to your site and results come back through Search Console
Choose Ahrefs if
Your strategy is links, or your job is analysis and you want the best data to do it with.
Choose Xeostack if
Your strategy is content, and the bottleneck is not knowing what to write — it is writing and shipping it consistently.
Written about Ahrefs as a backlink and keyword index, last checked September 2026. We deliberately quote no pricing or plan details for other products — those change, and a comparison that misstates them is worse than one that leaves them out. Check their site for current terms.
